New York ... I.Have.Arrived: Flights with Feeling Featuring Cecile Charlotin

Updated: May 29, 2020

I went to New York City this month. This was one of many New York trips I've taken but the key part about this trip that stands out is the fact that I was able to attend New York Fashion Week for the first time ever! The shows were spectacular. I discovered new designers but I was in awe of all the fashion industry attendees with their unique styles It truly inspired me to immerse myself in my work and further my career in fashion.

The Best of the City

Where to Stay: I stayed in Hells Kitchen, however, this area isn't as aesthetically pleasing and doesn't have all of the options that some of the other NYC neighborhoods have. I would recommend staying in Chelsea or downtown. There is so much all around that is walking distance and when you are on a budget its the easiest way to get around.

Where to Eat: I would definitely recommend the Mercado at the Hudson Yards. It's a tapas-style dining and there are options for everyone.

What to Do: Time Square is overwhelming, however, if you have never been it is definitely something to see. I would recommend going to a speakeasy-style show called Sleep No More. Just be ready to walk around in the dark.

Cecile loved NYC, so much that she has been there multiple times. She gives NYC 5 out of 5 for solo trips, girls trips, and of course ,baecations. She thinks that NYC isn't that much of a choice for family vacations, as she gave a 4 out of 5.

You can keep up with Cecile's adventures on Instagram and her website.
